Program Details

My son, Carl and I operate a small beekeeping business which involves hive management, maintenance and the sale and supply of honey to local markets. Visiting helpers would assist us with this work and gain valuable knowledge and skills in the care and sustainability of the bee population which is so important globally. Sometimes a helper would assist with some gardening, tending to our little fruit plots, lawn mowing and general clean and tidy up. Overall there would be lots of free time to explore and enjoy this simple living and beautiful place... walking, cycling, fishing, swimming or just lazing about. Accommodation consists of bedroom with 2 single beds within the house. Meals are cooked and served in our kitchen /diner. Helpers would be free to cook or prepare their own choice of dish if they prefer All in all work and play is done in a very relaxed setting.

Rules

The volunteer would be expected to adhere to an acceptable level of cleanliness and tidyiness and be courteous and respectful towards people.
