Our small, welcoming language school, in downtown Buenos Aires run by a team of dedicated female educators, is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic receptionist for a minimum of 8 weeks. Spanish classes are available at a small cost.


What you offer

Our small, welcoming language school, run by a team of dedicated female educators, is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic receptionist for a minimum of 8 weeks. Spanish classes are available at a small cost.

Our school is located in a charming, centrally located building, offering a safe and convenient base from which to explore the exciting city of Buenos Aires.


Activities & Shift

A Unique Cultural Exchange Opportunity (Accommodation Available!):

This is a fantastic opportunity for a native English speaker to immerse themselves in Argentine culture while supporting our school's daily operations. We are looking for an organized and friendly individual to manage our reception area. While learning Spanish will greatly enhance your experience in Buenos Aires, formal Spanish classes are optional and available at a small additional cost through our school. This structured approach, combining practical reception experience with the option of formal Spanish instruction, maximizes your personal and cultural growth. Ideal candidates will stay a minimum 8 week period.


Rules

Responsibilities:

Welcome students by managing the reception area.
Travel to partner language schools within Buenos Aires at least three times per week to collaborate and create social media content.
Spend the remainder of the workweek at the main office uploading and managing the content created.
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Be available for communication from our administration.
Actively participate in optional Spanish classes (if chosen).

Requirements:

Native English speaker (non-negotiable).
Ability to enter Argentina on a tourist visa.
Minimum 8-week commitment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Professional, responsible, and reliable.
Willingness to engage with students and visitors.
Available to start on a weekday morning (check-in Mondays 10 AM - 12 PM).
Check out day is always a Friday in the 12 to 3.00 PM hour range.
Exclusive focus on this position: Volunteers must not have other jobs or major commitments.
