The experience

Hey so we are a small 36 seater restaurant (with added outdoor summer seating) We are looking for helpers with a passion for hospitality and really care to provide great food and service, to ensure all our guests leave with happy full bellies ;-)
Full training is provided for this role/roles and will include customer service, light food prep, wash-up, cleaning, laundry and even a little gardening (container, herb garden & flowers)


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English

Over 20 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

European Union Passport

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

We are an evening dining restaurant and so most activities are during the afternoons and evenings, extra paid work is available to EU citizens/ working visa holders with a right to work in Ireland (you will need a valid PPSN)


Activities & Shift

Afternoon and evenings to around 10pm
4-5 hours per day with a guaranteed 2 days off and possibly more.
Customer service, welcoming guests and table service, food and drinks.
Kitchen, light food prep, washing-up, cleaning
Domestic staff & volunteer house cleaning


Rules

We are 100 % No smoking!!!!! (no outside space)
The apartment is all brand-new and so cleaning and tidying is so easy and we must keep it that way and so everyone cleans as we go.
Night-time is for sleeping, the apartment is a shared space and so the evenings are for relaxing quietly, we do also have neighbours and so absolutely no parties!
