help in teaching English and dances to our foundation children

The experience

In this position we expect the volunteer to teach our children English language and some dances from their country. We expect the volunteer to share his or her home culture and we also introduce them our Ugandan culture by means of culture exchange, share music, art, and stories from each others countries.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 13 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Costs are for housing and transportation to and from the orphanage. Pay notice that we can arrange pickup from the airport at an extra fee of $128 (one way).

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 55 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

The volunteer will have breakfast at 07:30 at their place of residence and be picked up in the morning around 09:00 and taken to the orphanage on the weekdays. There, he/she can decide on a program for the day with the available staff. Around 14:30 the volunteer will be taken back to their residence.

If the volunteer wishes to visit certain places outside of their working hours, it is advisable to make arrangements with the Kagaali staff, to ensure the safety of the volunteer.
