The experience

Being part of Eco Vida is to build and enjoy a planet in harmony, where beyond differences, it is to find ourselves in the essentials and generosity towards the common good.
Our activities are designed to be in constant exchange with nature and the beings that inhabit the planet, enjoying what we do every day, creating a comprehensively sustainable lifestyle.

What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 47 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: Our NGO is self-managed, and is supported by the contribution of the founding partners and the contribution of you as collaborators. Thanks to this we can act every day in the now to have a respectful planet in its entirety.

What you get

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner Spanish or Beginner English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

The exchange consists of collaborating in planned activities where you put your skills and wisdom at the service (learning/teaching) and sharing the daily tasks of a tribe/family, keeping your space and common spaces in order. Our activities provide comprehensive collaboration to the community and to those who are curious to live a magical experience with them. The collaborator is accompanied in the projections that are established by mutual agreement, since the idea is exchange. Contributors can suggest ideas that contribute to their expertise, their colleagues, the community and the environment. Anything that adds value is welcome and if the conditions are viable that projection will be met.

Activities & Shift

The activities will be carried out according to the schedules established for each screening, subject to change due to weather. The person has the freedom, outside of these hours, to enjoy their time as they wish.
