The experience

We are looking for experienced Barista to help us with running our cafe in Goa. We are small community cafe which serves good coffee sourced from local Indian farmers. We do not serve more than 50-75 coffee cups per day to ensure the quality of coffee is met in every cup we make. I know its comparatively very less coffee cups with any other country. But being a chai drinking nation and Goa famous for alcohol, coffee culture is still small here.

Open the cafe by 9/9:30am and we usually starts getting customers from 10am. Barista will be incharge of running the cafe and maintaining the records of sale. Also make sure the place is kept clean. Its a small 10-12 seater capacity and hence its not a very busy cafe. Weekly we organise community dinners where strangers can come and cook in our kitchen followed by games night. Please make sure to take care of the machines as they are expensive. Bonus, if you can click pics/videos for our social media account based on coffee shop theme (real stuff, not edited pics exaggerating)

Activities & Shift

It will be either 6 hour shift per day, 2 days off. Or 5 hours per day and 1 day off. That will depend on the requirements which will be discussed before.

We have a head barista and this position is required to cover him during his off days or while travelling. So there will be days where he can train you in the beginning. If you can bake, its an added bonus at the cafe.
