The experience

Welcome to a vibrant surf hostel located in the heart of Santa Catalina, Panama! This is more than just a place to stay: it's a home for surfers, adventurers, and travelers looking to connect with nature and our welcoming community. We’re looking for fun, responsible, and easygoing volunteers to help us keep the surf house running smoothly. If you love the beach, enjoy meeting new people, and don’t mind pitching in with daily tasks.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Activities & Shift

What You’ll Help With:

General housekeeping – Keeping common areas kitchen clean and tidy.
Guest assistance – Welcoming guests, answering questions, and creating a friendly atmosphere.
Breakfast setup – Helping with basic morning preparations (nothing too complicated!).
Social vibes – Encouraging guests to join activities, organizing BBQ nights, or just hanging out and making everyone feel at home.
Occasional small tasks – Watering plants, running small errands, or helping with general upkeep of the surf house.
