The experience

I’m Edrine from Uganda, a man on a mission to change the lives of orphans and those in need. 🌍❀️ I'm grateful to be part of Worldpackers, where we can build unity and love with brothers and sisters from all over the world. I promise to share the warmth of Uganda, the "Pearl of Africa," offering a warm welcome with delicious local treats 🍰 and giving hope to the orphans we’ll meet. It’s an honor and joy to be a host and make lasting connections

What you offer

2 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
