Ahangama (Kabalana Beach)

Hiriketiya

Hours:
24 hours per week (flexible), but we value proactive people who take initiative.

Compensation:

Shared accommodation in a mixed dorm.

No meals provided during the trial period.

For extended stays and excellent performance, additional perks may be introduced (e.g., café discounts, free yoga/surf classes).

3. Core Responsibilities

Welcome and connect guests, helping them feel at home.

Organize daily/weekly activities — sunset gatherings, beach clean-ups, surf meetups, movie nights, yoga sessions, BBQs, or pre-drink events before parties.

Promote Wake N Flow events and encourage guests to join.

Lead guests to popular local events:

Wednesday: Dr. House Party (Weligama)

Friday: Jungle Party (Hiriketiya)

Saturday: Secret Pearl Bar (Ahangama)

Create and share short video clips/photos with our social media team.

Support café pre-drinks and community dinners to help increase F&B sales.

Engage guests to leave positive reviews on Hostelworld, Booking.com, and Google.

4. Reporting & KPIs

Each volunteer must maintain a simple Weekly Social Host Report, submitted every Sunday.
It should track:

Events organized (with photos or guest count).

Café impact (approximate additional sales or engagement).

Guest reviews mentioning your efforts.

Content created (videos, reels, or photos).

Any feedback or ideas for improvement.

Key Performance Metrics:

Review ratings on OTAs and Google.

Café sales linked to pre-drink or social events.

Occupancy and guest retention rate.

Organic mentions and social media
