The experience
We are a French couple with 3 children (13,11and 7 years old) living on a farm with 1 hectare of terraced olive trees and a small yurt house. Chickens accompany us, give us eggs every day and an adorable donkey cleans and makes rich manure for organic farming.
Our activity is a private project which aims to gain autonomy and resilience.
Between "outside" work, home schooling, farm work, children's activities...
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Activities & Shift
Gardening, construction, animals, ...many projects are in progress and to come, for example:
the creation of a syntropy agroforestry line
Planting trees
installation of a basin for phytopurification
Rules
Volunteering operation and schedule (flexible depending on the need, the climate, the project, etc.)
Start 9am-12pm / 3pm-6pm

Meals:
Lunch is taken together = with the family ;), other meals are independent
Food will be made available in a space dedicated to volunteers and will be determined according to the needs and choices of the volunteers.
Accommodation and amenities
Volunteers have an unheated caravan with a large double bed, tables and gas stoves, fridge, water, covered space outside...Autonomous space.
The toilets are independent bio-controlled toilets, there is an outdoor shower with cold/hot water (hot water depending on the sunshine - solar water heater)
