Program Details
Your volunteering experience can include one or more of the following: reception, housekeeping/laundry, admin assistance like booking management, responding to reviews, and marketing. The schedule is 5-6 hours per day 5 days per week.
In exchange for your dedication, we provide free traditional Cambodian cuisine and accommodation in shared rooms with other international volunteers. This ensures a rich cultural exchange experience while supporting you in your service.
Travellers who volunteer in Cambodia can benefit from a cultural exchange experience by immersing themselves in the local culture and interacting with the people. They can learn about the history, traditions, values and beliefs of Cambodians, as well as their challenges and aspirations. They can also share their perspectives and skills with other local employees of our staff. A cultural exchange can support mutual understanding, respect and friendship between diverse cultures.
Activities & Shift
We would love to add more members to our team. Daily tasks vary from front desk support, housekeeping, gardening, laundry and general cleaning (common areas, pool & rooms), and admin support.
We need some volunteers with intermediate or fluent English for:
• 6 hours a day (30 hours of help per week)
• Reception: Welcoming guests and helping them with check-in and check-out, answering incoming calls, processing payments for room fees, making guests feel welcome.
• Laundry & Cleaning: help clean the bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
• Housekeeping: help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping
• Gardening: weeding, watering flowers and keeping the area clean
Alternatively, your time can be divided between practical help in one of the above aspects plus admin assistance with booking management, responding to reviews, and marketing.
We can welcome solo and couples volunteers.
Rules
We have a zero tolerance policy for drugs, for smoking and drinking alcohol. Also we don’t allow guests to bring them to the hotel.
