Staying with Mr. the home and Ms. Phuong was a truly wonderful experience. I am very grateful for their kindness and generosity, and I genuinely loved the home-cooked meals. Being welcomed into their family and sharing experiences like camping by the lake, picking fruits, attending the festival, and visiting the temple and pagoda made my stay unforgettable. Their children Emma and Richard are smart, hardworking, and full of life. Jack, Mary, Bunny, Elsa, and Jenny are bright and curious, while the younger ones are absolutely adorable. I will always remember this family with gratitude.

The family was extremely kind and welcoming. I had a beautiful time with them and felt like part of the group. The food was very delicious and healthy. We went out a couple times and had lots of fun together. The children I taught were sweet and full of energy. I genuinely enjoyed my time and am very grateful to have met everybody. I had my own room with a lock and was allowed to eat and drink whatever and whenever I needed to. I would love to return one day. Thank you for being so welcoming and caring.

To begin, I'd just like to say 5 stars are really not enough to express how positive this experience has been. Beginning with my first communication with them on WhatsApp, to the warm welcome, attention to my comfort and needs, delicious meals, appreciation for my efforts - truly everything - it has been wonderful. Despite the home's and Phuong's limited English, their children's and the lovely children with whom you'll spend your time, English is quite good. This is because they both have a profound understanding of how language is acquired. The children under their care are fortunate indeed.

Had a great time with this lovely family! They have established a good way of teaching the children English vocabulary and then speaking and reading. I had fun talking to the children. Most of them could already speak English really good! In the weekends the family would take me to their family, so I experienced a lot of local traditions and ate local food.

This was a great experience. I was positively shocked by the motivation of the children and their level of English. The system of immersion and teaching Phuong le and Trang use is quite unique. The level of English the kids attain is beyond belief. It was possible to have basic conversations with 5 year olds and one of the 7 year olds spoke almost perfect english and could read at a level that would make many a 12 year old American or English kid blush. I feel privileged to have been part of the crew here. The children were totally lovely and eager to learn and easy to work with.

The whole family welcomed me and my sister warmly. We had a private room and shared bathroom. They provided us with more than enough food, you'll never go hungry here! Richard and Emma are very smart and quite energetic, in the best way! The task was to engage with them in english and spanish languages through conversation and writing exercises. With the younger kids, who were all sweet, we read books, watched educational videos, played at the park, english only. There is one day off per week, quite flexible, usually the weekend is for activities with the kids. Use grab to go around and see

I had a lovely time at Than House. The kids were great and really open to practicing their English speaking and reading skills. It was lovely to meet so many kids from the neighbourhood. I was also looked after very well by my host family, with nightly visits into the city and great meals!
