Applications are accepted throughout the year. Chosen participants will collaborate with the GA West Municipal Office of the Commission, which is tasked with upholding Human Rights as outlined in the Constitution of Ghana.

The primary responsibilities of the commission include:

*Investigating complaints regarding violations of rights and freedoms in both public and private sectors, as well as addressing issues of injustice, abuse of power, and unfair treatment by public officials in the execution of their duties.

*Examining claims that a public official has failed to adhere to the established code of conduct for public office holders.

*Investigating all reported or suspected cases of corruption and misappropriation of public funds by officials, and taking appropriate actions based on the findings of such investigations.

*Educating the public about their fundamental human rights and freedoms. It is important to highlight that the commission employs mediation, negotiation, compromise, and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods when addressing the complaints it receives.
