The experience
We are a developing Permaculture community based on a cooperative new earth money-less model. We have a variety of tasks and businesses which need to be maintained and developed further, from a food forest and food transformation to green technologies and eco-village building.
4 hours of dedicated pioneering morning work. Experience and learn what 'living green' really is.
What you offer
16 hours of help per week
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
3 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Permaculture Course:
Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Program Details
We are hoping to develop work parties of 3 to 6 volunteers at a time for a minimum of a month to help grow our food forest and eco-village. Everyone who is willing to put in an effort is welcome. However some green construction, farming or permaculture experience is an asset.
Activities & Shift
4 hours in the morning for 4 days a week.
We do have a communal meals most nights around 6pm which you can partake and pitch in for. We eat well and mostly vegetarian.
On your time off:
There are caves to explore nearby which we provide lamps and boots for and some jungle walks as well as our own forested property to use.
Buses can get you to town and ocean/beaches about 20 minutes in either direction. However transport at night is difficult. Surf, diving, snorkeling, island hopping all nearby.
Rules
We provide lodging, tp, water, propane, internet, some food from the farm, charging station, bedding, work boots, fully furnished kitchen etc...
No shoes in the house, or wading pool or trampoline.
We use basic composting style toilets.
Only bring eco friendly products with you.
No smoking on the grounds.
No guests after 8pm unless its some kind of community organized event.
