It was my first Worlpackers experience and it couldn't be better. I felt welcomed at the minute I arrived and met wonderful people who still have a place in my heart. The work was exactly what I expected and not really hard when you like to work with animals and enjoy to be outside. You also had a lot of free time where you could spend time with the horses and other animals, enjoy the nature or take a bike ride :) I would definitely recommend this place to every horse and animals lovers like to work outside and connect with nature 😊

My time on the farm was wonderful—made so by the other volunteers, the hosts, and their friends/staff on the camping. I especially enjoyed the animal shifts (where I could watch the ducks waddle around their pond, hand feed the deer like a Disney Princess, even run away from the alpacas😉) and the board game nights with Naduah, Martijn, and all of the other girls. The accommodation is cozy and it really does feel like you're having a sleepover with your besties each night. I will remember my time spent here very fondly and hope to see it again!

Such a lovely welcoming place I was so happy here and am sad to leave! The farm is full of amazing people and animals that I will miss :( Naduah is very generous and understanding when it comes to work and there's flexibility with the schedule which is appreciated. The apartment is so cute and cosy, I will miss movie nights and cuddling the cats it really feels like home 🩷

I worked as an au pair and here's some quick notes for any future au pairs for Maya and Dayo: * You really need to know some Dutch to do the job effectively * It took three weeks of hard work for them to adjust to my presence and not to see me as an invasive stranger * But also keep it mind that it also takes time for you to get to know the kids In addition to taking care of the kids, I also had to do housekeeping and sanitary, so you won't be spending all your hours with the kids. If you don't mind the mess, the apartment is quite good. But the BEST time was spent with the girls playing!

I arrived at the volunteer program with enthusiasm, but the experience wasn't what I expected. Communication was confusing, and at times I felt unappreciated. There was a lack of clarity and better organization was needed. I share this with a constructive spirit, hoping it helps improve the experience for future volunteers. The project has potential, and with a few adjustments, it can offer a more welcoming and enriching environment for everyone.

The farm is truly beautiful, fully immersed in nature. I met wonderful people there and had the chance to work closely with horses, which was a special experience for me. While some things were a bit unclear at the beginning, everything went more smoothly after the first week. Overall, I'm grateful for the time spent there and would recommend it to open-minded people who love animals and rural life!!

I absolutely loved my experience! All the people here were so kind and I loved being around everyone. The work was good and the hosts were really flexible with it. Another Highlight were all the different sweet animals, the horses we were working with and the cats in the apartment. I would recommend this place to everyone and also definitely would come back 🫶🫶

I had an amazing time at the farm! Naduah, Martijn and everyone working at the farm were so nice and welcoming! The work was absolutely adequate and the schedule was always flexible if we needed some time off! In our free time we could go wherever we wanted and if we asked we could take the ponies for a ride in the forest or in the arena! 💞 I feel like you have to be independent at arrival and ask if you don't know something. But once I got settled in, the apartment really felt like a second home to me! I will miss the camping the girls I met there 💓

Amazing! This place left a mark on my heart and I hope it does to yours as well. <3 The host, Naduah went out of her way to help volunteers and was so supportive and fun to be around. The cats that live in the apartment are the best cats in the world! If you're an animal lover that doesn't mind hard work, is good working on a team (and loves it!!), wants to disconnect and be among nature (the forest trails are incredible) and wants to feel like you're at a big sleepover every night, do apply. You can ride horses when they're available, borrow a bike to go to town, and swim in the lakes.

This was my first volunteering experience with worldpackers and I loved it. The host family and all the other people on the farm were really nice and friendly. I also liked Naduahs flexibility with the shifts. I've learned so much during this month and would highly recommend this place!
