The studio's people were friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere. I decided to cut my trip short because I didn't feel comfortable enough to stay. The place itself is quite basic and not the most comfortable environment, so if you're considering volunteering, I'd recommend setting realistic expectations. I applied to help out in reception and since low season started in March there was not much activity going on. A major issue is the lack of communication in the Worldpackers platform, they don't reply to messages, which made it difficult to coordinate or get information in advance.
