Program Description: How Our Volunteer Program Works
Welcome, future team member!
At, our volunteer program is the heart and soul of our community. We don't just see volunteers as help; we see you as co-creators of the vibrant, friendly, and supportive atmosphere we're known for. Our program is built on a foundation of cultural exchange, mutual respect, and a fair exchange of energy and skills.
Here’s a detailed look at how the journey with us works, from your first day to your last.
1. The Core Exchange: A Partnership
This is not a job; it's a collaborative experience. You will contribute your time, skills, and positive energy for a set number of hours per week. In return, we provide you with a comfortable place to live, meals, and a host of other benefits that allow you to fully immerse yourself in Kathmandu and our community. Our goal is for you to leave with new friends, new skills, and incredible memories.
2. Your Arrival & Onboarding (The First 48 Hours)
We want you to feel at home right away. Upon your arrival, here’s what you can expect:
Welcome Tour: We'll show you around the entire property.
Meet the Team: You'll be introduced to the current staff and fellow volunteers.
