The experience

Hey all travellers!

We are looking for kind-hearted people to help develop our refugee-led organisation, to benefit the people in our communities who need it the most. This particular position entails website development, as we are in need of a simple, but functioning website. We also guarantee that we will show you the life of Nakivale, so you are not only stuck to the desk.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Web Developer: Help develop and maintain websites.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Program Details

We offer free accommodation and food in return for the development of a website for our refugee-led organisation. The schedule is completely up to you, even if you just want to come for a visit and to the development before or after the stay. We can accommodate!
