The experience

Looking for a team assistant for the Cooking Team. This is paid position on top of accommodation, food and an amazing place to live with all commodities included.
This person can grow on the job, contributing with her talent, cooking creativity, organisational and social skills.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 50 One time

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers pay 50 Euro that include a membership fee for the NGO and a personal accident insurance. This makes their stay legal and properly covered by a valid insurance.


What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

We offer an amazing place very well located, with delicious vegetarian lunch and ingredients for a nutritional simple breakfast, accommodation and a community life. In exchange, we are looking for a committed, experienced and self responsible person. We expect that people that join us are caring for the self, for the other and for the space. We want to leave a better place behind and we expect every volunteer that comes here to do the same.


Activities & Shift

On duty: 5 days per week, 5 hours per day.
Off: 2 days per week.

A typical day would be to help manage the kitchen and cooking lunch for the team or helping out with the group retreat catering. Recurrently helping out with the storage and the groceries management. This is a role that is highly engaged with the food gardens team, co-planning with their team leader the layout of the crops.


Rules

Number of showers per week might be limited due to the dry season, between May and November.
