The experience

We are looking for a compassionate and responsible volunteer to help care for our animals. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference while spending time with cows, goats, and chickens.
Your Responsibilities
•Feed and provide fresh water for 4 cows, 3 goats, and chickens.
•Keep animal enclosures clean and well-maintained
•Engage the animals with fun activities and social interaction
•Monitor their health and report.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 10 Per day

Description: We have a daily contribution of €10 for our volunteers, which helps cover the costs of: - Food - Accommodation - Water - Other essential expenses


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

•Monday
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Feeding and watering animals
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Cleaning and maintaining enclosures
•Tuesday
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Providing enrichment and social interaction
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Monitoring animal health and reporting concerns
•Wednesday
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Assisting with grooming and hygiene
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Feeding and watering animals
•Thursday
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Cleaning and maintaining enclosures
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Providing enrichment and social interaction
•Friday
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Monitoring animal health and reporting concerns
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Assisting with grooming and hygiene

Note: Shifts are flexible and can be adjusted to suit volunteer availability.

Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of our animals, staff, and programme activities at all times.
•Safety: Follow all safety protocols to protect yourself and the animals.
•Gentle Handling: Handle animals with care and follow staff instructions.
•Punctuality: Arrive on time for your shifts and inform staff if changes are needed.
•Communication: Speak clearly and respectfully with staff, volunteers, and visitors.
•Hygiene: Practice good hygiene by washing hands regularly and wearing clean clothing.
•Respect: Treat all animals, staff, and fellow volunteers with kindness and consideration.
•Code of Conduct: Follow the programme’s code of conduct and report any concerns or incidents promptly.
