The experience

We are seeking a Manager for our Eco Backpackers Hostel in Albania for a 5-month period, responsible for coordinating volunteers, handling check-ins, managing bookings, ensuring cleanliness, and overseeing daily operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in hospitality or team management, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. English proficiency is required.

Program Details

The Manager will oversee daily operations at our Eco Backpackers Hostel, ensuring smooth coordination of volunteers, guest check-ins, and general administration. Responsibilities include managing bookings, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere through social activities. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to create an engaging experience for both guests and volunteers.


Activities & Shift

The Manager will work in flexible shifts, typically 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, with two days off. Daily activities include coordinating volunteers, overseeing guest check-ins and check-outs, managing bookings and inquiries, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance, and organizing social events to create a welcoming atmosphere. Additional tasks may include handling minor administrative duties, problem-solving guest issues, and ensuring smooth hostel operations.
