Program Details
As a volunteer in a Guatemalan Yoga Ashram, you will experience both the international culture of visitors and retreat guests from all over the world as well as the authentic and very friendly local community. Here you can enjoy a spiritually minded environment and learn from Dada about many different yoga practices, cultures and philosophies from around the globe.
Activities & Shift
We encourage all volunteers to actively participate in our daily yoga and meditation sessions, as they are a vital part of the experience we offer. Each day, we provide two yoga sessions and three meditation sessions, and we view your involvement in these practices as an essential aspect of the exchange and ashram experience.
In your free time, explore the charming city of Antigua, just a 45-minute drive away, where you can immerse yourself in its rich history and vibrant culture. Enjoy peaceful walks in the nearby forest, or engage with the local Guatemalan community by joining friendly football games in the neighborhood. You'll meet a diverse mix of people, from locals to other Seekers, all sharing a common interest in spiritual growth and cultural exchange.
