The experience

Camp Brahim Nomad is located just 9 km from Tagounite, in a peaceful kasbah village called Ksar Tiraf.
Surrounded by palm groves, desert silence, and traditional Amazigh life, our camp offers a true nomadic experience far from the noise, close to the soul.


What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 5 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Yes, we kindly ask for a small contribution of 5€ per day to help cover meals during your stay. This supports local cooking, shared food, and the experience we offer from the heart.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Activities & Shift

7:00 AM – Sunrise Wake-Up
Begin your day with a peaceful moment watching the sunrise. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan breakfast to energize for the day ahead.

8:00 AM – Morning Activities
Gardening & Landscaping: Help tend the plants, clean the surroundings, or work on creating a new green corner.
Construction & Maintenance: Assist with ongoing projects, repairing the camp facilities and improving the space.

11:00 AM – Tea Break
Relax under the shade with Moroccan mint tea and a light snack, sharing stories with fellow volunteers.

11:30 AM – Creative Time
Engage in artistic tasks like painting decorative patterns, crafting signs, or designing creative features for the camp.

1:00 PM – Lunch & Siesta
Enjoy a hearty meal with traditional Moroccan dishes, followed by a siesta to rejuvenate for the afternoon.

3:30 PM – Local Immersion or Leisure
Village Tour: Explore Tagounite with a guide, meet the locals, visit the market, and experience everyday desert life.
OR
Free Time or Camel Ride: Depending on the day, enjoy a tranquil camel tour or take time to relax and explore the camp.

6:00 PM – Sunset and Evening Gathering
Return to camp and unwind as the sun sets over the dunes.

Evenings Around the Fire: Sing songs, share personal stories, and embrace the calm of the desert under a starlit sky.

8:00 PM – Dinner
Share a delicious communal meal and reflect on the day’s work and adventures.

10:00 PM – Wind Down
Enjoy some quiet time before bed, take in the desert night, and prepare for another rewarding day ahead.
