🌿 Volunteer and Experience Nature in Its Purest Form! 🏕️

Honestly, the guest house was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Its clean and beautiful sea and the untouched nature were exactly what I was looking for. The volunteers there felt like a family to me — we were all very close to each other. The only downside was that the food portions were a bit small. But overall, I really enjoyed my stay.” 🌊🌿

This was an experience ok, the biggest positive being the connection with the other volunteers. Despite the spectacular nature, the number of tourists took away some of the peace. The nights, however, were quite lively with parties. The lack of communication and organization from the contractors was definitely a point to be improved. Nevertheless, what truly saved the experience was the relationship between the volunteers. The exchange of experiences and mutual support made the journey unforgettable and outweighed the negatives. The tents were relatively comfortable, food ok.

The Valley is a real paradise and it was truly amazing waking up to those views during 45 days. Depending on the day, your tasks and work hours might change, which requires flexibility and adaptability on your part. A good thing about the tasks is that they allow you to be creative and propose extra activities you'd like to offer to the guests. On the downside, the trash could be recycled and a better environmental conscious developed. Also, sometimes the energy of the place might be a little heavy, which is not the host's fault. You can often feel how tired and stressed the workers are.

The place it's a paradise on earth, beautiful. and unique! That's the reason that for sure it's needed to give more attention to the nature around at the place. Turn it more sustainable. As a volunteer I was able to offer ideas about things that I could do. I gave yoga classes, worked in the market and promoted rituals. The atmosphere is no the best sometimes, but is not Nilsu's fault, she is just a worker and the workers really work hard there. The food was ok, the lunch usually dont have enough protein, so i recommend you to bring some protein powder. Met lovely people from many countries.

My experience in BV was not what I expected. I was looking for a human experience and found a place focused on money. I was there with my partner and I didn't like the way she was treated as a woman. The working hours and schedule was a total mess, communication between managers was awful and never had a clear schedule on how to proceed with tasks. The staff wasn't looking very happy and everyone was afraid of "the boss". That kind of managing does't suit with my values. I booked a month stay and ended up leaving after three days. The place is beautiful, meals and accomodation were respected.

You tried to make money in our establishment without any permission or boundaries. We tried to support you, but you did not behave in an acceptable manner. Hygiene is the most important thing, and you even violated that.

We were excited for a good experience, but this place was a total disappointment. It's disorganized, not spiritual at all, and felt like a tourist trap. We applied for social media, but they didn't know what to do with us. They tried to benefit from my tattoo work without offering space or respect. I was told to dance beside my partner like an object — I felt deeply disrespected as a woman. Also, they prefer single women and don't treat couples well. If you're looking for a deep, conscious experience, this is not the place. AVOID if youre looking for an organized and respectful place.

You said, 'If I don’t do tattoos, I will leave because I need money.' You gave a tattoo without our permission and in complete disregard of hygiene rules.
You also mentioned that you're a dancer and that you could dance. Lying doesn't suit you at all. Fortunately, we’ve reached out to the relevant parties about this matter.

Accommodation and food portions provided were great. You could always go to get seconds, and you have half off on most of the stuff sold in the valley! The staff that you meet is full of very kind people that if you're willing to work through translating are very fun to talk to. Only downside is that the communication with the volunteers, and accuracy of our job description is a little chaotic. That could change over time, but it really depends who's in charge of the volunteers at the time. If you can handle that you will do just fine in the valley!

I had a great time during my stay at the guest house. The staff was always kind, I made incredibly close connections with the other volunteers, and Nilsu (the coordinator) was always very kind. It is a great opportunity to stay a beautiful place, where I would probably otherwise not be able to afford a single night stay. It seems like direction of management changes daily, so you need to be a very flexible and adaptive person, because sometimes your work will switch. Being social media, sometimes I needed to adjust my hours because I was asked to work extra some evenings.

The guest house is a very beautiful place. The meals were good, and we could use the water sports equipment in our free time. The possibility of being in the sea at any time, and the contact with nature was great. The volunteer team was amazing, and most of the workers very friendly. On the other hand, there were some communication issues as there was lack of planing and no clear leadership. I was assigned to tasks unrelated to the position I've applied for, and I had to reach out to different people to help me resolve simple issues, or misunderstandings that arouse because of this.

My time at the guest house was okay although i didnt like the food very much and there was not much to do since its a really small and secluded area that is reached only by boat. i was there during april so there was a lot of rainy days but you can swim and kayak during sunny days and the sea is amazing for that . there's a slight language barrier since staff can rarely speak english
