Program Details

We have traveled all over the world.
It's been almost six years since we moved to Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture.
I don't think there are many places in the world where we can live so comfortably.
We're not far from big cities and we're surrounded by nature.
There's also the world-famous Art Island nearby, which is easy to visit.
We've seen the world, but we really feel that this place is special.
Our activities promote interaction between travelers and provide a place where locals and tourists can interact, and we value the connections that are made through this, as well as the experience and enjoyment of the differences in cultures and values that we can find at our travel destinations.

Activities & Shift

In addition to World Packers, we also employ mid-term free accommodation staff.
Mid-term free accommodation staff will be in charge of all aspects of the accommodation, including cleaning, check-in, and management.
We would like you to work during the hours when mid-term free accommodation staff are absent.
You will be primarily responsible for bed making and check-in duties.
If you wish to stay for a medium term, we may ask you to clean your room and make your bed.
We would also like to ask you to help out with an event to interact with foreigners that will be held at Kokoka Antiquarian Bookstore.

Rules

You will be sleeping in a dormitory bed inside the inn.
Please treat your fellow staff members with consideration and humility towards customers.
We also value cleanliness.
Always keep the shower, kitchen, sink, etc. clean.
Also, please be quiet at night.
