Activities & Shift

Daily Activities of the Volunteer Task:

Class Preparation:

Morning or Evening (depending on volunteer's schedule): Volunteers will spend time preparing lessons for the day. This may include reviewing language materials, creating lesson plans, selecting vocabulary, and practicing key phrases for the day's class. If needed, they may also research cultural topics related to the language to enhance the students' learning experience.
Online Classes:

Class Time (usually scheduled in advance): Volunteers will conduct online classes via video calls, using digital platforms like Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet. Sessions typically focus on basic communication skills, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational practice. The classes may be tailored to the learners' skill level, from beginner to intermediate.
Interactive Activities: Volunteers will engage students in interactive activities like role-plays, quizzes, and discussions that simulate real-world situations, particularly those relevant to hospitality and tourism (e.g., greetings, hotel check-ins, ordering food).
Cultural Exchange:

Volunteers may also incorporate aspects of cultural exchange into the lessons. This could involve introducing cultural elements of the language (e.g., customs, traditions, food, or holidays), which can enrich the learners' understanding of how language is used in different contexts.
The volunteer may share insights about the language's country of origin, helping to connect the learners with the global context of their studies.
Student Support and Feedback:

After each class, volunteers will provide constructive feedback on students' progress, highlighting areas for improvement and areas where they excel. Volunteers may also give students personalized homework or practice exercises to reinforce
