Program Details
My Name is Luc Huyen, i am own a small business and community program in Ha Giang city, called: Peaceful Mountain Homestay.
I would like to reserve my traditional lifestyle as Giay tribe through my homesaty with beautiful stilt house for homestay service, it is cozy and friendly to host guests who want to experience Ha Giang loop tour and local culture with us.
I am happy to host volunteers from workaway to help us with some activities as below:
1. Experience our services to evaluate /feedback, help us maximise our message. Provide online sales and marketing support through website updates, social media management, and review sites
2. Assist with reservations, and pre-arrival service. Attend to reception desk responsibilities, including check-in, check out, and guest requests. Aid in coordination of day-to-day operations of tea spaces and Ha Giang loop tours
3. Help with practical English class for locals

Rules
• Respect, and seek to understand, the culture of Vietnamese. This involves being tolerant to varying approaches of the local people (your coordinator can explain the cultural norms and advise you.)
• Follow your project rules; respect your family and local community regarding consumption of alcohol.
• Be aware of potentially different attitudes towards sexual relationships in our nation and understand the effect that any such relationship may have on individuals and the local community.
• Treat all people with respect and dignity.
• Dress appropriately at all times with regard to our culture
• Not engage in political demonstrations or illegal activities..
• Keep your manager informed of your plans about trips and weekends.
• Consult the manager for anything that you may feel unsure of in regard to local custom.
