My experience at the guest house was really good. Hicham goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed and integrated. He trusted me to develop his website and I always felt at home at the the guest house.

It has been my first experience as backpacker and couldn't be better! Hisham is very gentle and accessible, always concerned about the backpackers and doing what he can to give us the best experience! And he has a lovely team, we have fun moments with them! Also the the guest house is great. It is comfortable, clean and adorable! I will indicate as a hotel, for sure!

It was the best experience I have ever had. Hicham, Nida and all the staff are amazing people. The hotel is very nice and it was a pleasure to help them. I met places in Lebanon that I could never imagine. Everyone is friendly and I'll be back soon for sure. Thanks Hicham for the experience.

Communication was poor, the living arrangements were unclear from the start and kept changing and services were eliminated without warning. I left early because things agreed upon in advance were unfulfilled.

Colleen stayed one week, worked less than 1 hour and arrived to that one hour 45 mn late when kids where waiting and asking for her!
Everything was so clear, well agreed, but Colleen didnt want to fullfil the agreement of sharing the room with other ladies volunteers.
Ended by same negative attitude .

Mi experiencia en Damaskrose fue excelente. Las personas muy atentas en ver que este bien, nos pudimos entender a pesar de que mucho solo hablan árabe y yo solo hablaba español. Me dedique a aprender Inglés y me guiaron para poder conocer todo Líbano! Recomiendo este lugar para quienes quieren aprender de su cultura y para quienes desean empezar a conocer Oriente Medio. Además de la comida libanesa que es saludable y muy gustosa.
