I had the opportunity to stay at the Center for 5 weeks and I honestly had the most wonderful experience. The tasks were clear and manageable and I felt incredibly supported. Everyone in the community were welcoming and friendly, I quickly felt comfortable and at home. I was able to contribute to the community with tasks specific to my skills like painting and mending. I also had plenty of down time to explore, go on nature walks and relax. Thank you for having me the Center, I hope to return to experience summer there very soon 💕🌼

5 stars is not enough to express how incredible our experience was with Emily. She won the hearts of the village and gave me the enormous gift of being able to go to Canada for a month and leave the center in her hands!! She is trustworthy and capable in everyway. She is charming, resourceful and VERY well organized. Emily's motto "We'll figure it out" BIG thank you from my heart and can't wait to welcome you back with your mum to experience the summer season! I had an incredible time there! I enjoyed skating and walking on a frozen lake, hiking in nature, and witnessing a stunning northern lights display. Inside, I practiced yoga, which made the experience even more relaxing. What truly stood out was the deep connection I felt with both nature and the amazing people there, so kind, joyful, and welcoming. I'm really grateful for the unforgettable moments I had. P.S.: Kelsey is absolutely amazing!

The Center is such a special place! The nature ist just amazing, the best I've ever seen. And the people as well, everybody gave a warm and inviting welcome! If you want to connect with yourself and your surroundings, this is the best place to go! Working hours were flexible and doing social media you could bring in all your ideas and contribute to the network! Everything you needed was in the apartment and if there was something missing, Kelsey did everything to help! Honestly just the best experience, I recommend this place to everybody!!!:))

This was honestly one of the best experiences of my life—I can't recommend it enough. I was a little unsure about going in the winter, but the vibes were amazing. While I was there, the center was hosting an acro yoga event, and the crew let us volunteers join in exchange for some extra work, which was so cool. Everyone I met was super kind, friendly, and welcoming. I had the best time and loved every second of my stay, especially the morning yoga sessions with Kelsey and all the moments with the other volunteers. the Center will always have a special place in my heart! ❤️

Right after arriving in Hedemora, I received a warm welcome. I was well informed about everything, and everything went smoothly as it should. I met many new people – all of them were kind and friendly. I learned a lot of new things and refreshed my existing knowledge. I highly recommend the yoga classes with Kelsey. I also really appreciate the prompt communication and openness in solving any situation.

Isabel and Sheridan landed into the volunteer house with so much ease, always friendly and happy to help out with all the tasks. They took great care of the garden, easy to talk to. Sheridan also has experience with animals and her cat expertise has been appreciated! They are both just really sweet to have around. Wish them well on their next adventures

I had almost no idea of gardening before I came to the Center – which was no problem, because the inhabitants of the community showed my all I had to know. I had a very warm welcoming by the other volunteers and community inhabitants. Lovely people I had a bunch of interesting conversations with. It was my first time living in a spiritual community with all the yoga and some rituals. Very inspiring! Single thing to criticize are the prices for laundry and pick up – not what I expected for volunteering. Nevertheless: Stjärnsund is a incredibly lively village surrounded by beautiful nature!

Göran arrived open-minded and ready to learn all about gardening. He spent so much time in the garden with his hands in the earth, even on weekends and days off- he really got into it and developed his green skills. We were inspired by his initiative to get out and explore, take long hikes even making it all around the lake nearby. He always took time to appreciate and enjoy the nature opportunities around him. Thank you for all your help.

Here's some background: Annoyed American who began to dislike his job wanted to travel. Friend who uses Worldpackers refers me, and I find out about the Center. Never would I have imagined I'd make friends from 4 of the 7 continents and 8 countries, get very good at video editing, experience the Swedish countryside, and overall feel myself come out of my shell I had created for the last few years. You're helping a great cause and great people, who also want the absolute best for all their volunteers. Once in a lifetime opportunity that truly made me a more patient and understanding person.

Noah travelled all the way from the USA to be with us for 3 weeks. We were so happy to share another kind of lifestyle with him where he could slow down and enjoy the small things. My experience at the Center was incredible. It is such a welcoming and heartwarming place. I got to meet so many amazing people, my fellow volunteers and roommates who have become like family to me as well as the wonderful community members around us who have been unbelievably kind and supportive. I am beyond grateful for the memories I made and most importantly for the people I had the privilege to get to know and that I got to experience all the little adventures with. I couldn't ask for a better volunteering experience. I miss you all and I will definitely be back!! <3

Luzie found her way right into the volunteering family. She was known for her daily question "How was your day" opening space for everyone to connect. She made deep friendships during her visit with her open heart and willingness to get to know everyone. She was a big help in the garden and enthusiastic about cooking for our monday meetings.
