The camping was a fantastic volunteer opportunity. Tuesday and Wes are great hosts and nice to get along with. The work was straight forward and hours respected. I had such a great time I will be returning!

Tuesday and Wes are so kind and I appreciate what they build in the camping. The tasks were clear and they make me understandable all time because sometimes I am in difficult to understand the irish accent. So don't be scary for that. If you are a person who love staying in a country side, reading a book, listening music and you are not so sociable the camping fit for you. If you need city life, you could go there and you could use the 2 days off to visit the main cities in Ireland. They are so polite to pick you up. The dorm where you'll sleep it's a loft so cozy. I ate good. So let's go!

Amazing experience! There's always something happening in the camping it's impossible to get bored, we work hard, we party hard ๐ŸŽ‰. Everyone is kind and gentle, even in the local pub (Mid Atlantic Team will be missed). All the best to Tuesday, Wes, Ziggy, Pixie and Pรบca!

I enjoyed my time here! It was nice to have variety of tasks - outside work, painting, cleaning etc. I like the schedule (10-13; 14-16), had enough free time. Every day we had lunch and dinner all together with host family and volunteers. Dinner we were cooking taking turns day to day (btw useful thing to know for the future volunteers is that food for lunch&dinner at the days off you buy and cook for your own). Room was cozy and beautiful :3 Hosts are beautiful and creative souls, very interesting people and open in communication. I glad I had this experience, best wishes to the camping!))

This host is great, the place is magically beautiful and they really care for the gardens, pets and people. When the weather is good, you work outside, if not, inside in construction and even getting to know some machines. In summer, the job is more to care for the guests, preparing the yurts with hot tubs and pods. Very lovely and even in the rain a beautiful experience even if you only decide to go for a walk on the property after work. In conclusion: amazing, unique, had a great happy time and might come back!

Tuesday and Wes were both accommodating and welcomed me to their place with open arms. The work was manageable and is great for outdoor enthusiasts. The other volunteers were great company too and was lovely cooking with them.

Overall, the experience was quite disappointing. There was little real interaction with the hosts, even during shared meals. Transportation help was minimal, and we often had to manage on our own despite being in a remote area. Promises weren't kept, like a poorly organized trip to Sligo. Lunches were repetitive (mostly sandwiches). In the end, it felt like we were just there to work, not to share in a meaningful cultural exchange.

Dude you need to wake up to yourself. You say meal times where unbalanced and unorganised, er you guys tell me what you want to cook and then I get the ingredients, how is this our fault. The one trip you went on in the 4 weeks you were here a day trip to sligo. I offered you a lift to the bus, you weren't ready and I had to go to work. We have had volunteers for 6yrs and u were the hardest ones to talk to. We held a creative writing retreat with workshops and gigs u never came. This is all on u

The place is well organized, tasks are varied, and the campsite is pleasant. However, the atmosphere was difficult: little group cohesion, very gendered task distribution, and a lack of trust from the hosts, who were sometimes mocking or closed-minded toward different opinions. The experience probably depends on the group you're with, but for us, we didn't feel fully welcomed or valued.

Lea you where a good worker and we are very helpful for your time. But yourself and your boyfriend where very closed off to the group often staying in your room all evening, during the creative writing retreat we offered you to come to workshops and a gig you never came. You never once started a conversation at the shared meals. During your days off you never went anywhere, other volunteers managed to travel all around. You guys didn't try to make the most of your time here. So Don't blame us.

The family is kind, open, and welcoming, which I really appreciated. However, I sometimes felt tension in the atmosphere. The area is peaceful but quite isolated, and I was hoping for more social interaction with people my age. One older volunteer often made fun of me behind my back, which really affected me especially when you're abroad and already trying to adapt. Despite that, I'm still grateful for the experience and what it taught me. However thanks a lot for the hospitality !

Nils, the tension that you felt was definitely coming from your accommodation area not us! You say you wanted more social interaction but you spent all your evenings on your computer in the dark or on your phone. On your days off you always stayed around the site and never ventured far. You could of gone to galway or sligo and stayed in a hostel and chatted with people. If your looking for social interaction with people you have to make an effort. Even at the dinner table you barely said a word.
