Building construction worker with experience
The experience
We are looking for someone with experience in construction, especially working with materials like wood, bricks, and other ecological building materials, to help us with ongoing small construction projects around our house. Our home was built using sustainable, eco-friendly materials, and we want to continue improving our space with similar methods.
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Yoga classes:
Take free yoga classes at our place.
Holistic Therapies:
You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.
Permaculture Course:
Take part in our Permaculture course for free.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Beginner English or Fluent Spanish
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Constructing shade roofs
Paving a terrace
Other small construction tasks as needed

Requirements:
Experience with woodwork, masonry, or similar construction skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Interest in eco-friendly building practices
Ability to follow instructions and contribute ideas for new projects
