The experience

February - June, we are running our Hospitality training program, where we are training 10 local women varied skills from cooking and baking to serving, coffee making and running a café.

We’re looking for somebody to assist in teaching cooking & baking until the June 1st opening of our café (a social Enterprise established to employee graduates, providing economic empowerment to step out of vulnerability and exploitation)


What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 13 Per day

Description: This covers your nightly accommodation and contribution to Water, power and on-site security. As well as pick up and drop off to the local airport. Plus local cuisine style lunches Monday - Friday.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Portuguese

Between 18 and 68 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Travel insurance


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

We receive skilled volunteers to invest into the work. We are doing to bring freedom, true identity, and empowerment to vulnerable woman in the north of Mozambique.


Activities & Shift

Our programs run Monday to Friday and cafes on Saturday.
