The experience

Join a immersive mezcal experience in non-touristy Oaxaca.

For a small fee, you'll learn every step of mezcal production: agave harvest, fermentation, distillation, and more!
Enjoy activities like mezcal masterclasses, tastings, and tours to other distilleries. Includes shared accommodation, meals with the locals, transportation, certificate and some mezcal of your own!!

What you offer

21 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 40 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Volunteers share $50 usd in exchange of: - a mezcal induction to understand our whole project - a full mezcal tasting - dancing classes - visit to distilleries - a dinner with the team and our local supplyers

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Fluent English or Beginner Spanish

Between 18 and 45 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
