The experience

I am asking for support from people who have knowledge with vegetable gardens, chicken, composting, bees, bio-construction. If there is no experience, maybe you are creative & enjoy painting or cooking? Whatever your skills are, you are welcome to join our rancho & I am happy to share what I know.

Monday 7:30am - Friday 11:30am
Saturday & Sundays free

In exchange I offer accommodation, wifi, breakfast & the crops you harvest on the ranch.


What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent Spanish or Beginner English

Between 21 and 75 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

You help on the daily tasks on the ranch, or come up with your own idea and initiate for a new project! :)


Activities & Shift

There are many different activities & tasks to do every day & over specific climatic seasons:
- maintain vegetal gardens
- plant seeds & trees
- harvest vegetables & fruits
- animal care (chicken, rabbits, cats & dogs)
- composting
- wood work (fire wood preparation, bamboo work, bio-construction etc.)
- creative projects (painting, etc.)
- cooking (learn the real Mexican kitchen)
