The experience
As a Graphic Designer volunteer, your primary responsibility will be to create original content using existing brand assets to enhance the organization's impact on social media and other platforms.
In addition to content creation, you may have the opportunity to mentor and train youth in graphic design skills, contributing to their personal development and potential career opportunities.

Program Details
The Soweto Youth Initiative is a community-driven program based in Nairobi, Kenya, dedicated to empowering children and young adults through education, mentorship, and creative opportunities. Activities & Shift
As a volunteer graphic designer at the Soweto Youth Initiative, your activities may include:
1. Content Creation: Designing posters, flyers, and social media graphics to promote events, campaigns, and programs.
2. Training and Mentorship: Teaching youth basic graphic design skills, helping them explore creative career opportunities.
3. Community Engagement: Collaborating with other volunteers and team members to develop new ideas for outreach and awareness.
4. Project Support: Assisting in the planning and execution of workshops, field trips, and community events.
5. Brand Development: Enhancing the organization’s visual identity by creating impactful and consistent branding materials.
6. Cultural Exchange: Participating in cultural activities and building connections with local residents.
