The experience

In this role, you'll help capture the unique essence of our business by taking high-quality photos and videos that we can use for our Instagram, including reels and stories. You’ll play a key role in enhancing our digital presence by supplying beautiful, well-composed visuals. This is a great opportunity for someone with photography skills, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in creative storytelling. Bonus points if you have a drone!

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 50 Per week

Description: The location of our coliving is quite remote and far from grocery stores. We cook and eat communally, the owner coordinates our shopping lists for the week and purchases the groceries for the house. Paying guests pay a fee of €70 and volunteers pay a reduced fee of €50 per week. This fee includes all food/groceries for the week and other supplies (oil, dish washing soap, trash bags, gas for the drive to the store, propane for the stove/oven etc.)

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

Ruralco appeals to digital nomads, remote workers, artists, teams, and creatives looking for a unique work-life balance. We are seeking photographers, video editors, film-makers, and other types of media artists to come experience our coliving, and help us with documenting this place based on their experience and creative interpretation.

We aim to leverage the unique perspectives and creative talents of our volunteers in our marketing. We aim to leverage your creativity and perspectives to authentically showcase our community, while providing you with a platform to expand your portfolio and hone your skills in a dynamic and inspiring environment.

Activities & Shift

Although your focus will be photography and/or videography, you may also be asked to help us with cleaning responsibilities around the coliving space and maybe gardening as well depending on the season. Please come equipped with some clothes you can work outside in! At Ruralco we share a communal way of cooking and sharing food - so come prepared with some of your favorite recipes you want to share with others!
