The experience

Location: Algarve, Portugal
🌟 Join our historic estate in the heart of the Algarve, where we’ve been cultivating amazing wine for over 300 years! We are the largest organic vineyard project in the region, working to revive and nurture indigenous Portuguese grape varieties like Negra Mole and Crato Branco. 🍷


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner English

Between 20 and 60 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Agricultural Activities and Learning Opportunities

A typical day involves a variety of agricultural activities, depending on the season.

We enjoy teaching about regenerative agriculture, organic practices, and the importance of working with the natural conditions of the Algarve.

volunteers will have the opportunity to learn techniques that combine innovation with tradition.
We need your help to care for our vines and become part of a sustainable, vibrant community that’s passionate about nature, wine, and culture! 🌱


Activities & Shift

You can expect to participate in:
• Vineyard care: pruning, harvesting, soil maintenance.
• Seasonal planting and harvesting.
• Integration and care of animals.
• Composting and soil improvement practices.
• Preparation of products for wine tourism and gastronomy events.
- Painting and small maintenance/fixing
- Cleaning and decorating/preparing houses for guests check-in
- welcoming and serving clients from all over the world that come for wine tastings and events.
Tasks vary according to time of year and necessities.


Rules

Keep common spaces clean. Clean your own dishes and keep room and bathroom tidy.
