The experience

Join us on our beautiful self-sufficient farm in Denmark, where we embrace the joys of nature and sustainable living. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us start the season on our farm, in our vegetable garden, fruit garden and vineyard. Tasks include planting, growing, cutting, composting, and soil improvement, as well as harvesting and processing fresh produce in our kitchen.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate German

Between 18 and 39 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

European Union Passport

Activities & Shift

Shift Details:
Work Hours: 25 - 30 hours per week
Days Off: 2 days off to relax and explore
Tasks:
Planting and tending to the vegetable garden
Cutting / pruning the vines
Assisting with composting and soil improvement
Helping in the vine cellar.
Processing fresh produce in our kitchen

In principle, working hours will take place in the morning between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., so that the afternoons and evenings are free. Depending on the weather and season, you should be flexible. We expect a high level of self-motivation and interest in agricultural work on an organic farm. Be aware that work can be not only inspiring and satisfying, but also demanding at times.


Rules

Be respectful of all farm residents, animals and nature.
Open communication is important to us.
Be punctual and keep things clean and tidy.
Wear suitable clothing and sturdy shoes when working.
Cooperation is crucial - the well-being of the team comes first.
Use resources such as water, electricity and food sparingly.
Make sure that equipment and tools are put away clean and in working order after use.
The farm should remain a relaxed place.
