Come slow down with us, where the road ends and the desert begins…
We are a nomadic family living in Tagounite, a quiet desert village in southern Morocco where time moves gently and the sun kisses the earth all day. Many nomadic families in our area still live in traditional tents and face difficult winters with limited resources. Children need warm clothes, educational support, and simple joy. Elders need company, and the whole community thrives with a little help, kindness, and connection.
As a volunteer, you will be part of something greater than just a trip you’ll be walking into a story. A timeless one. You’ll share food, laughter, stories, and purpose. You’ll help with small acts that make a big difference whether by teaching languages, spending time with our family or elders, or supporting local initiatives.
This is not a project; this is a way of life.
You’ll sleep under stars, breathe deeply, and maybe just maybe rediscover a part of yourself that the city forgot.
Activities & Shift
While you’re here, you can also experience the deep magic of the Sahara:
• Visit Erg Chigaga, the “Mother of the Desert,” by 4x4 or camel caravan
• Try sandboarding down golden dunes at sunset
• Explore the ancient kasbahs, where every stone tells a story
• Sit around the fire and listen to nomadic tales under a sky full of stars
• Practice mindful living—slower days, deeper breaths, warmer hearts
Surprises included. Always.
Rules
We welcome everyone no matter where you’re from, who you love, or what your beliefs are. LGBTQ+ friendly.
Respect for our land, our traditions, and each other is the only rule that matters.
Bring kindness, curiosity, and your true self. The desert will take care of the rest.
