The experience

2 volunteer teachers who can teach or communicate in English is highly demanded in a government school. Besides, the volunteer can teach other subjects like music, dance, sports, etc. The volunteering should not be less than 3 weeks. Volunteers can extend their work if the school found them appreciated.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 100 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Volunteers contribute US dollar 100 per week per person to the host family to cover expenses for food and accommodation.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Purpose of the agreement :
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which the host family agrees to provide accommodation and support to the volunteer/s at Kundahar Basic School located in ward no.12 Pokhara,Nepal.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
1. Responsibilities of the Host Family and agrees to:
1.1. Provide safe, clean and comfortable living accommodations for the volunteer, including a private/shared room, access to bathroom facilities and basic utilities.
1.2. Ensure the volunteer is provided with daily meals twice a day + breakfast in the morning+ tea in the afternoon.
1.3. Offer guidance and assistance in adapting to the local culture and environment.
1.4. Maintain regular communication with the volunteer to address any concerns or requirements.
2. Responsibilities of the Volunteer and agree to :
2.1. Respect the rules and cultural norms of the host family.
2.2. Follow the schedule and guidelines provided by Kudahar Basic School for volunteering activities.

Activities & Shift

Break fast / Lunch at 8:45 am with host family.
Volunteering : 10 am to 2pm
Snacks : 4 pm with the host family.
Dinner : 7 pm to 8 pm with host family.
The volunteers attend the school at 9:45 am and teach at least 4 hours a day ( 20 hrs a week). 2 days off.
During their leisure time they can enjoy with different activities like sightseeing, hiking, trekking, city tour, etc.

1.1. Provide safe, clean and comfortable living accommodations for the volunteer, including a private/shared room, access to bathroom facilities and basic utilities.
1.2. Ensure the volunteer is provided with daily meals twice a day + breakfast in the morning+ tea in the afternoon.
1.3. Offer guidance and assistance in adapting to the local culture and environment.
1.4. Ensure the volunteer has access to transportation (public or otherwise) to reach the school or any related volunteering activities.
1.5. Maintain regular communication with the volunteer to address any concerns or requirements.

2. Responsibilities of the Volunteer :
The volunteer agrees to :
2.1. Respect the rules and cultural norms of the host family.
2.2. Follow the schedule and guidelines provided by Kudahar Basic School for volunteering activities.
2.3. Notify the host family and school in advance in case of absence or emergencies.
