- Respect: Respect for the land, animals, and each other is paramount. We foster a peaceful and inclusive environment for everyone.
- Communication is essential! We encourage open, honest, and transparent communication at all times. If you need anything, have any questions, or face any challenges, please reach out. Clear communication helps us all thrive.
- Be flexible and adaptable. While your volunteer role may have a primary focus, there will be times when we ask for help in other areas. A positive and flexible attitude will ensure that we can collaborate effectively.
- Work independently and responsibly. Volunteers are expected to be self-motivated and take initiative in their tasks. Collaboration is key, but you will have the autonomy to manage your responsibilities with accountability.
- Contribute to a positive atmosphere. We aim to create a welcoming, peaceful, and productive environment. Your energy and attitude play a big part in shaping the community.
- Safety: Always prioritize safety, especially when working with tools, machinery, or in the forest.
- Tidiness and cleanliness are essential in both personal and common spaces. Volunteers are expected to clean up after themselves, contribute to shared chores, and ensure that common areas are tidy and pleasant for everyone. This includes kitchen spaces, bathrooms, and living areas. Everyone is responsible for maintaining a clean environment.
