Olzhas and Aida were both amazing hosts, both extremely patient and friendly, the place itself was lovely, including a billiards table and a sauna. The outside is also amazing with amazing views and places to explore, but you can't stay too long outside when it's snowing🥶.

It was amazing, the area is really peaceful so I could get some rest after my work, which was gardening 5h per day. I was listening to podcast while working and just focusing on my thing. The food that Aleida prepared was delicious and I felt more than welcomed. The room was clean and I had private bathroom. I can recommend it to anyone. !!!

Amazing experience, the family is too friendly, you must make yourself hungry because they will make you eat more 😂 It was raining most of the time, but I have enjoyed my stay with the family, I missed them ❤️ Thank you so much 🙏

My time at the eco village was really great! The work itself was pretty easy. I did some basic fieldwork with Olzhas, spent a little bit of time in the kitchen with Aida and painted a room. The highlighted was definitely Aida's cooking, all the dishes she cooked were amazing! I had a lot of fun cooking with her. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and there was a river we could swim in after working in the field. The only thing I struggled with was the communication about the work hours. It was sometimes unclear about the days off and work hours.

I had a wonderful time at the eco village! The family is warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about sharing their culture. I did a mix of fieldwork, painting, and helping in the kitchen—I liked the variety and learning new skills. A real highlight was Aida's cooking: every meal was a delicious experience and a great way to discover traditional Kazakh cuisine made by a true Masterchef. The only thing they could improve is clearer communication about work hours and days off. Thank you for welcoming me!

It was my first solo trip, and I felt so much warmth and joy from this family. Volunteering here was like a roller coaster—some days started at 5:30am, some at 8:30am, and the working hours varied, but the fresh wind and endless countryside views always helped me relax. Olzhas and Aida are truly kind—Aida taught me how to make Baursak, Lime Tea, and even prepared delicious Beshbarmak. The workers are so hardworking—Akma's strength impressed me. I had great talks with YuHee, but sadly missed her hometown food on my last day. We ended with a lovely family gathering. I'll come back in winter!

Accommodation and food were fine. However, I found the information about the volunteering arrangements unclear and limited. My insights mostly came from other volunteers. Certain comments and manner from host delivered led to a profound discomfort. It seemed that my personal consent was overlooked, as the tasks assigned weren't clearly outlined in the host's profile criteria. This left me feeling uneasy and ultimately led me to leave early. I strongly suggest that communication be clearer and more aligned regarding volunteer expectations and responsibilities, ensuring mutual respect.
