Program Details

Daily One-on-One Sessions: Volunteers will spend each day providing tailored mentoring and tutoring to child mothers. You’ll assist with their studies, set goals, and offer emotional support to help them balance education and motherhood.
Home Visits and Family Engagement: Volunteers will visit the homes of the child mothers in the slums. This will allow you to understand their daily lives, challenges, and strengths. Meeting their children and families creates a network of trust and shows that education is not just about the mother but about improving the whole family’s future.
Sponsorship for Education: Volunteers have the opportunity to sponsor the education of one or more child mothers, covering the costs of school fees, supplies, and other educational needs. Sponsorship ensures that these young women can continue their studies without the financial burden that often forces them to drop out.
Life Skills and Career Guidance: Volunteers will also facilitate workshops on time management, career planning, and financial literacy. This helps the mothers envision a future beyond their current circumstances and empowers them to pursue independence and career goals.
Building a Supportive Community: Volunteers will lead group activities that foster community among the child mothers. These sessions offer emotional support and help them form lasting connections, ensuring they never feel isolated in their journey.
The Impact:
By sponsoring a child mother’s education and offering daily mentorship, you’ll help her stay focused on her studies and overcome the obstacles of living in the slums. Your presence and support will show her that a better future is possible. Education will not only change her life but also the lives of her children.
