What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Program Details

We welcome passionate and dedicated volunteers to join us in our mission to empower girls and children through education, digital literacy, and creative media. As a volunteer with Season of the Time Media Productions (STMPs), you will play a key role in supporting our educational programs, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting workshops on filmmaking, music production, and digital skills.
Support the creation and implementation of educational content for youth.
Engage with participants, helping them develop their talents and confidence.
Collaborate with our team to organize events and outreach activities.
Provide mentorship and guidance to girls and children, encouraging their personal growth.

Activities & Shift

As a volunteer with Season of the Time Media Productions (STMPs), you will engage in a variety of activities that support our mission of empowering girls and children through education, digital literacy, and creative media. Below are the key activities and shifts you can participate in:

Key Activities:
Digital Literacy Workshops

Assist in teaching basic digital skills, including computer usage, internet safety, and software applications.
Lead small group sessions to help participants develop their digital literacy.
Creative Media Workshops

Support in teaching filmmaking, photography, and music production.
Help guide participants through hands-on activities such as shooting videos or creating digital art.
Mentorship & Guidance

Provide one-on-one mentorship to girls and children, helping them build confidence and skills.
Offer emotional and social support, guiding participants in personal and academic growth.
Event Planning & Community Outreach

Assist in organizing community events, such as exhibitions of students' work, workshops, and talent showcases.
Support outreach efforts to promote our programs and engage the local community.
Administrative Support

Help with organizing program materials, tracking attendance, and updating participant records.
Support logistical arrangements for workshops and events.
Shifts:
We offer flexible shifts to accommodate different schedules. Volunteers can choose from the following options:

Morning Shift (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Focus on conducting workshops and providing mentorship.
Afternoon Shift (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Assist with post-workshop activities, including helping students with projects and event preparation.
Weekend Shift (Saturday or Sunday)

Participate in community outreach, events, or provide additional workshop support.

To ensure a positive and productive experience for everyone, we ask volunteers to follow these simple rules:

Respect: Treat all participants, staff, and fellow volunteers with kindness and respect.
Punctuality: Arrive on time for your shifts and activities. If you can't make it, let us know in advance.
Confidentiality: Keep personal information about participants private and respect their privacy.
Commitment: Stay engaged and complete the tasks you sign up for. If you can no longer volunteer, inform us early.
Positive Attitude: Bring a positive and encouraging attitude to all activities.

Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and report any concerns immediately.
No Discrimination: Be inclusive and ensure a safe space for everyone, regardless of background, gender, or ability.
