The experience

We are looking for someone well travelled, friendly and with great communication skills that can help us with a little bit of everything. Tasks may vary everyday depending on the Hostel needs and can include assisting our guests with their needs, answering phones, showing our guests the Hostel, cleaning and making the hostel look pretty, some laundry,folding sheets, making beds, gardening and other DIY projects.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate Spanish or Fluent English

Between 20 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

Please remember this is WORK exchange and not a PLAY away. Volunteers will be asked for 5 hours of quality work everyday and the rest of the time will be yours to enjoy Puerto Varas.
We are looking for hardworking, experienced, organized, independent, smart and energetic individuals that will not need a lot of supervision and have the initiative to see what needs to be done and do it.


Activities & Shift

5 hours everyday. Shift may vary in the morning, afternoon and/or evening.
2 days off


Rules

No drinking, no drugs, no smoking, no pets and no outside guests permitted.
We like to start with a trial basis of two week and we can discuss a lo ger term if it works out.
You need to have a phone that you can text or email for communication while you are here.
A passport or ID will need to be provided at arrival.
