Video Content Creator & Editor for Island Life & Coliving Journey
The experience
Join us in beautiful Corralejo, Fuerteventura, and help document our exciting entrepreneurial journey! We run a vibrant coliving space and are soon launching a supermarket and restaurant right next door. Your role? Capture daily life on the island, showcase our progress, highlight community events, and bring our story to life through video. If you're passionate about storytelling, videography, and editing, this is the adventure for you!
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements
Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish
Between 23 and 45 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
As a volunteer, you'll immerse yourself in the vibrant life of our coliving space in Corralejo, where you'll live and work alongside like-minded travelers, remote workers, and entrepreneurs. Your primary role is to document our journey weekly through podcasts, vlogs, and behind-the-scenes content while showcasing community events and the exciting progress of our new supermarket and restaurant ventures as well as beachfront villas. This is an opportunity to combine storytelling and creativity in a dynamic and inspiring environment.
Activities & Shift
Daily Tasks: Capture candid moments around the coliving space, guests’ experiences, and the local lifestyle.
Weekly Commitments: Produce and edit one vlog and one podcast episode highlighting life in the coliving and our community events.
Event Coverage: Record behind-the-scenes content and coverage of all hosted events, such as workshops, dinners, and social gatherings.
Content Editing: Dedicate time to editing and publishing high-quality content to share our story with the world.
Shifts: Approximately 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with flexible scheduling to match event timelines.
Rules
Respect the privacy of guests while capturing content. Always obtain consent when filming individuals.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of your personal and shared living spaces.
Be proactive, communicative, and creative in your work.
Adhere to deadlines for content delivery to ensure consistency.
Host in high demand at the moment
Many worldpackers have been applying to this position recently. The host will probably not be able to respond to all of the applications, so we recommend that you also apply to other hosts in our community and not just this one :)
