We had an amazing time helping Ankit take care of this little haven in Japan. It was a great chance to learn more about Japanese culture and organic farming. Our tasks included keeping the space organised and looking after the vegetable garden. The flexible schedule made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. The house is cozy, modern, and private, with fresh ingredients for cooking and even a screen for movie nights. Ankit is a kind and generous host, and we loved our chats and shared meals.

Staying three weeks at the farm was absolutely amazing. As a city boy, getting involved in simple farm and construction tasks helped me truly appreciate the value of this lifestyle. Ankit was an incredible host—always providing clear guidance, the right tools, and sharing his knowledge about farming. By the end of it, we didn't just learn—we made a friend. The shifts were flexible and totally manageable, making it a great fit for anyone, regardless of experience. I really hope to meet up with Ankit again in the future—or even volunteer on his farm once more. I strongly recommend.

I had such an amazing time here! The work was engaging, and I had so much fun working with other travellers from all over the world. The accomodation is super cozy and authentically Japanese, and was really fun and comfortable to stay in. This was my first time using worldpackers, and Ankit really made me feel at home. He is super easy to get along with, very kind, with and treats everyone equally and with respect. He is also a former volunteer traveller himself, so he knows exactly what his volunteers might need or want, and is very flexible and accomodating! すべてに感謝しています!

This was my first volunteer experience, so I had no expectations, but the farm exceeded them. Ankit is very friendly, flexible with work and hours, and generous with meals and fresh vegetables. I particularly enjoyed the cozy living room, where I spent every morning, enjoying my coffee before starting my tasks. Work was divided by experience and preference, which worked well. There were five volunteers at once, which might feel like a lot. Overall, I really enjoyed it and recommend it to independent volunteers. The hosts don't live in the house, as it's an Airbnb, unlike family-run stays.
