The experience

We bred Arabian Endurance Horses.
We are planning to take a break over Christmas & New Year.

We are looking for a person or couple/friends who can:-
- feed and water my cat [lock him inside at night]
- turn on/off pressure pump switch each day to water the horses
- feed horses each morning and night
- put the sprinkler on the lawn
- water herb garden & pot plants
- check the mares and foals daily

There is an art/paint project if keen.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We can meet at the airport or bus station and take you to Flemingo. We are located 10 minutes from town on the Copeton Dam Road.
You will have access to a vehicle to check out the local tourist attractions such as Copeton Dam, Lake Inverell and Green Valley Farm.
You will have your own private room in our home and full use of our home facilities, including the laundry, kitchen, unlimited WFI, and spa.
Sit back on the swing chair in the evening and watch the sunset, or watch the newly born foals flock around.
We will leave bacon and eggs in the fridge so you can have a good breakfast each day if you choose.
Each day will require the cat and horses to be fed and watered. The lawn will need to be watered, depending on the weather conditions. Pot plants watered.
The rest of the time is yours to spend as you please on the farm - hiking, going horse riding [capable riders only], or just enjoying the peaceful Australian countryside. You are welcome to come a few days before we leave, and you are welcome to stay on for a few days once we come home.
There is a wooden cat enclosure that needs some TLC. If you are interested in sanding back, bogging up eroded woodwork, and painting a mural of your design, this is an optional project.
