Would not recommend, my time here in Sicily was terminated after I worked to assist the permaculture team on my off day, told I was "uncontrollable" and "couldn't be trusted". Was hence told to leave within 4 days. The accommodation is essentially a hostel which is still being renovated. Everyone is worked overtime and not compensated for it. Some interns are treated very poorly and flippantly with no regard for fair treatment. If you are looking to do lots of work for no compensation, then this may be for you. The interns however were all lovely and Sicily is of course beautiful.

My time in Sicily was short but unforgettable, thanks to the amazing people I met. Zeno has created a welcoming and multicultural space with people from all over the world. The shared accommodations were cozy and spacious. The main office is in a cute little seaside town, while other projects were in different parts of the region, which gave me the chance to explore more. I learned a lot about many aspects of Zeno's business and got to appreciate Sicily's culture and history. This experience is a perfect mix of learning, connecting and relaxing. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

I'm very glad to have met Zeno. He is extremely well travelled, driven, and an inspiring character with a range of experiences working amidst different cultures and languages. the project is a genuinely international workplace. Zeno hosts people from all over the world and during my time here, each of us have had the freedom to demonstrate our own perspectives and ideas. The hours are long but Zeno is always respectful and communicates honestly. We worked in a room with a beautiful view of the sea, and lived right down by the beach. Those with genuine drive and desire to learn should apply!
