Help Needed for Nomadic Kids in Tagounite Desert
In the heart of the Tagounite Desert, many nomadic families are facing severe challenges, especially during the cold winter months. These families live in tents and often lack strong materials and adequate clothing for their children. The situation has become increasingly dire due to climate change, which has led to water scarcity and harsh living conditions.

Activities & Shift

At our guesthouse in Tagounite, volunteers can immerse themselves in the nomadic lifestyle through a variety of unique activities. Experience the beauty of the Sahara with camel rides, exhilarating sandboarding, and yoga sessions under the stars. Engage with local nomadic families, sharing meals and learning about their traditions, or visit the lush Rar Oasis for a refreshing escape. Participate in hands-on cooking experiences to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes. Volunteers typically work a few hours each day, assisting with these activities while enjoying the magic of the desert and the warmth of our community.

We believe in a welcoming and flexible environment for our volunteers. Here are a few simple guidelines to keep in mind:

No Strict Rules: We don’t have rigid rules; instead, we encourage open communication. Just let us know how you can help before applying.

A Call for Compassion: This is a time to come together and help one another. We all desire a warm world filled with peace and kindness, and your willingness to lend a hand can make a significant difference.
We look forward to welcoming you and working together to create a positive impact in our community!
